400 g pork shoulder or neck (thinly sliced) 400 g dried rice vermicelli 1 cup lettuce (shredded) 1 cucumber (julienned) 100 g bean sprouts 150 g pickled carrots and daikon 1 cup fresh herbs (mint basil cilantro) 50 g roasted peanuts (crushed) 3 tbsp fried shallots 3 tbsp fish sauce 2 tbsp sugar juice of 2 limes 2 cloves garlic (minced) 1–2 chilies (sliced)
